When trucks are arriving faster than the bin auger can clear them, capacity at the hopper matters. Meridian Swing Augers are available in 10-, 12-, 13- and 14-inch models with capacities from 5,450 to 15,000 BPH, giving you a range of lengths, reaches and horsepower requirements to match your storage setup.

Low-profile swing hoppers and available hopper movers help position the intake under the trailer, while Meridian extendable swing options reduce truck repositioning between compartments. Heavy-duty truss systems, gearboxes and continuous Super-Edge™ flighting are built for the workload that comes with higher-capacity bin filling.

Horsepower requirements vary by tube diameter and length. Longer, higher-capacity models require more power, so compare the requirements in the model table with the tractors available on your farm. Your Meridian dealer can also help account for operating conditions and the commodities you handle.

Look beyond maximum bushels per hour. Compare hopper clearance, positioning options, tube length, discharge height, reach, horsepower requirements and the construction of the flighting, gearbox and truss system. These factors determine how well the auger will fit your site and perform during harvest.

Meridian extendable swing options are available within the 13- and 14-inch product ranges. They provide additional positioning flexibility at the intake and can reduce how often the truck must be repositioned between compartments. Availability varies by model, so confirm the required configuration with your Meridian dealer.
