Planting requirements change with crop, variety, planter and field location. Meridian Bulk Seed Tenders give farms a range of capacities and unloading systems for keeping seed supplied to the planter, from the compact single-compartment BST 112 to the 405-unit Seed Express 4055.

Choose an auger tender for straightforward unloading at rates up to 400 lb/min, a 240-unit conveyor tender for rates up to 1,200 lb/min, or a higher-capacity Seed Express model that unloads up to 2,500 lb/min. The lineup includes single- and dual-compartment models, manual or hydraulic gates, and wireless controls on select models.

FAQ

Meridian offers six bulk seed tender models. Capacities range from 112 units on the single-compartment BST 112 to 405 units on the dual-compartment Seed Express 4055. The lineup includes auger and conveyor unloading systems with manual, hydraulic and wireless control configurations.

The BST 112 and 225 RST use 6-inch poly-cup augers and unload up to 400 lb/min. The Seed Express models use cleated-belt conveyors and offer unloading rates from 1,200 to 2,500 lb/min. Compare the required capacity, unloading speed, reach and control system when choosing between them.

The BST 112 has one compartment with a capacity of 112 units or 88 bushels. The 225 RST, Seed Express 240 Basic, 240RT, 375RT and 4055 each have two compartments.

The BST 112 and 225 RST unload up to 400 lb/min. The Seed Express 240 Basic and 240RT unload up to 1,200 lb/min. The Seed Express 375RT and 4055 unload up to 2,500 lb/min. Actual unloading performance can vary with the seed and operating conditions.

Both models hold 240 units or 192 bushels and unload up to 1,200 lb/min. The 240 Basic uses manual gates and manual conveyor swing, with hydraulic conveyor drive and raise-and-lower functions. The 240RT adds hydraulic gates, hydraulic conveyor swing and a 6-function wireless remote with an LCD display.

Both models use an 8-inch cleated-belt conveyor and unload up to 2,500 lb/min. The 375RT holds 375 units and has 13 feet 5 inches of conveyor reach. The 4055 increases capacity to 405 units and provides 14 feet 10 inches of conveyor reach. Compare overall size, trailer configuration, capacity and required reach with your local Meridian dealer.

A scale package is available for the 225 RST. Auto-Convey™ scale systems are available for the Seed Express 240RT, 375RT and 4055. Confirm the available scale configuration for the selected model with your Meridian dealer.

A talc applicator is available for the Seed Express 240 Basic, 240RT, 375RT and 4055. Availability and configuration should be confirmed when ordering.
